Sorry about the purple text
I'm hoping this will be more readable. Remember, please feel free to join in and talk about Addiction being a brain disease. The more we talk about it, the better chance we have of reducing the stigma of a drug-related death.
Married for 41 years to my husband Jack, who just retired after teaching 8th and 9th grade science. We are owned by 4 cats and 1 dog, who rule the roost. Our backyard is a Certified Wildlife Habitat and we enjoy sitting on the deck watching the birds, squirrels, raccoons and all the other critters who visit us.
I was born in Australia and have dual citizenship. Grew up in New Jersey. Spent 12 years in North Carolina.
Retired medical transcriptionist. I also worked as a radio disk jockey and did voiceovers for a local TV station in North Carolina.
Have traveled all over the world, including twice to Tahiti. I love boating and traveling by ship. Hate flying but have flown to Australia twice and to South America among many other places.
I am an Expert Author on www.ezine.com. So far I've written 24 articles for them, a lot of them focusing on addiction.
My passion is to try to spare others the heartbreak of losing a child to addiction.
